On Sunday, new councils will be elected for cities and municipalities. All Estonian polling stations are open from 9 in the morning until 8 in the evening. E-voting ended on Saturday evening.
People aged at least 16 can vote. Their place of residence must be registered in the respective municipality or city. Estonian citizens, EU citizens in Estonia, and long-term residents in Estonia can vote.
E-voting ended on Saturday evening. If a person has voted electronically, they can change their vote at the polling station on Sunday. An identity document is required for voting at the polling station.
If it is difficult for a voter to go to the polling station, they can request to vote at home. For this, call the local government phone number from 9 to 14.

Votes cast at polling stations will be counted by the municipal and city election committees. The results will be published on the election website. On Monday, October 20th, a recount of the votes will take place.
