Alar Laneman says discussions are normal. This is the work of the parliament.
Priit Sibul says the amendments create confusion. Confusion hinders the country in a crisis.
Peeter Tali says the amendments are necessary. The country must be prepared for crises.
Laneman says the tasks of state institutions must be clear. In the future, tasks should not be forgotten.
Kaljulaid does not believe in the new amendments. He says the coalition must find additional strength.
Sibul says one law may not be good. It may conflict with the constitution.
Laneman says this is not a rebellion. There was a vote in the committee.
Currently, there is a stalemate. Sibul says a solution may come.
Tali says the purpose of the amendments is to improve the law. He believes the law will be adopted before Midsummer Day.
Pevkur disagrees. He says the law will be withdrawn if necessary.
This is the second attempt. The first attempt in 2021 failed.
