The Estonian economy is in bad shape. The state has little money. But the state spends a lot on public relations.
Many state institutions purchase public relations services. For example, the Institute of Health Development is spending 1.5 million euros. They are looking for a partner for health-related topics.
Local municipalities are also looking for partners. The Lääne-Harju municipal government is seeking someone for climate-related topics. The Health Insurance Fund is looking for a partner for screenings. They are spending 600,000 euros.
The Enterprise and Innovation Foundation is spending two million euros on tourism. The Ministry of Education and Science spent 50,000 euros on education. The Rescue Board spent 308,000 euros on safety.
A public relations officer says there is a lot of money. There are no savings.
