RMK expanded the forest road for the Saatse Boot bypass. The road was widened at the expense of meadows, without cutting down trees. Nearly 75 truckloads of gravel and crushed stone were used for the work.
For safety reasons, forest roads were widened in many places. Passing places were also built. The Ministry of Transport announced that additional safety signs will be installed on the road in the near future. This is necessary because traffic density is increasing.
The bypass for the Small Saatse Boot was completed on October 17. Now, new roads are being built around both the Small and Large Saatse Boot. The Small Saatse Boot project is complete, and the new road is 300–400 meters long.
After the acquisition of land, which should take place at the end of November, the construction project will be announced. For the Large Saatse Boot, the preliminary project is ready, and development continues. The Transport Board is working quickly to ensure the bypass road is ready by October 2026.
