Railway capital repair changes southern direction schedules
1.-25. aprillini muutuvad lõunasuuna rongide ajad Tamsalu ja Jõgeva vahel. Muudatused puudutavad ka Tallinn-Tartu liini.
From April 1 to 25, the train schedules for the southern direction between Tamsalu and Jõgeva will change. The changes also affect the Tallinn-Tartu line.
Eesti Raudtee is carrying out a capital repair on the Tapa-Tartu railway. This will help bring in the new Škoda electric trains. Now, the schedules between Tamsalu and Jõgeva will change from April 1 to 25.
Elron has informed that the changes will affect two morning and two evening trains on the Tallinn-Tartu line. Passengers need to check the schedules carefully.
The first changes will start on Tuesday. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the first train from Tartu will depart at 5:18. On other days, it will depart at 6:02. Passengers between Jõgeva and Tamsalu will travel by bus.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the train departing from Tallinn at 20:14 will travel by bus on the Jõgeva-Tamsalu section. It will arrive in Tartu at 23:43.
The last train of the day from Tartu to Tallinn will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 20:16. Passengers on the Jõgeva-Tamsalu section will travel by bus. The train will arrive in Tallinn at 00:15.
The train departing from Tallinn at 21:39 will travel by bus on the Jõgeva-Tamsalu section on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It will arrive in Tartu at 00:35. There are no changes to the schedule on Mondays.
The repair work will end on April 25. From April 26, the southern direction schedules will change again.
