Olari Koppel, director of the Chancellor of Justice's office, stated in a letter that conscripts have difficulty accessing dental care. During the inspection, it was found that conscripts have to call the dental office themselves or speak with their superior to get an appointment.
In case of dental pain, they must go to the medical center. The dentist may not answer the phone immediately, and the conscript may not always be able to answer the phone. Therefore, accessing dental care can take over 10 weeks.
The Chancellor of Justice's office announced that a new system will be implemented starting September 2026, making it easier to contact a dentist. Until then, the office urges ensuring that conscripts can access dental care more quickly.
Additionally, it was found that conscripts do not have sufficient toilets and leisure spaces in the barracks. The gym in the garrison is too small and lacks a fixed schedule.
