On Saturday, Siim Kallas will be laid to rest. His funeral procession begins from Viimsi.
The hearse will drive through Tallinn, making stops at Toompea and in front of the Estonia Concert Hall.
The first stop will be at Viimsi municipal office, where representatives from Viimsi municipality will be present. Siim Kallas lived in Viimsi and also served as its mayor.
In Tallinn, the hearse will stop in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Bank of Estonia, the Ministry of Finance, and the Riigikogu.
Then the hearse will arrive in front of the Estonia Concert Hall, where representatives of the Defense Forces will pay tribute to Siim Kallas.
A memorial ceremony will be held at the Estonia Concert Hall with many dignitaries present. ETV will broadcast this live.
Siim Kallas died on August 22. He was 77 years old. He served as Estonia's Prime Minister, as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Finance. He led the Bank of Estonia and was also Vice President of the European Commission. He was a member of the Riigikogu and helped establish the Reform Party. He was a key leader of the monetary reform.
