2021. aasta andmetel on kodutute arv Tallinnas vähenenud. Kille Alterman, Tallinna Sotsiaaltöö Keskuse juhataja, ütleb, et ei kasva. 2020. aasta uuringu järgi oli Tallinnas 82 kodutut. Eelmisel aastal oli neid 51.

Alterman sõnul väheneb . Nelja aastaga on kodutuid vähenenud. Paljud kodutud ei saa eluväljaga hakkama. Nad vajavad abi e või vaimsete häirete tõttu.

Keskus pakub abi erinevatele inimestele. See hõlmab sotsiaalseid ja majutusteenuseid. Mõned inimesed jäävad keskusesse kauaks ajaks. Nad ei saa iseseisvalt elada tervislike probleemide tõttu.

Alterman räägib, et kodutud elavad trepikodades, keldrites ja autodes. Koostöös politsei ja linnaga on vähenenud , kus kodutud ööbisid.

Sotsiaaltöö Keskus pakub u ja öömaju. Paljud kodutud külastavad t, kus saavad kasutada i ja muid teenuseid.

Siiski on inimesi, kes ei taha . Nad ei taha , näiteks korraldusi või alkoholi keeldu.

However, there are people who do not want to accept help. They do not want to follow the rules, such as night shelter arrangements or alcohol bans.
