Estonia's largest agricultural company Agrone is acquiring Latvia's largest dairy company. This company also produces Kārumsi curd snacks. The price of the deal is not disclosed publicly.
Agrone's CEO Raul Jeets says that both companies can help each other. Agrone specializes in good agriculture and raw milk production. The Latvian company is strong in dairy processing and new product development.
Until the deal is finalized, both companies will operate separately. After signing the agreement, nothing will change immediately. Production and cooperation will continue as before.
Agrone is Estonia's largest raw milk producer. It is also one of the largest in the Baltics and Nordic countries.
