Taavi Kotka tahab, et õpetajad õpetaksid rohkem AI-d. Ta tahab, et erasektor aidaks akadeemilisel teadusel. Sutter ütleb, et ülikool peab toetama Eesti ettevõtteid. Praegu on vähe insenere.

Sutter tahab, et uus rektor näitaks head visiooni. Ta tahab, et ülikool õpetaks rohkem rakendusteadusi. Sutrop ütleb, et ülikool tegi head tööd. Kuid ta tahab rohkem rakendusteadusi majanduse kasvuks.
