In court, there was a case where three people were accused of fraud. The court found them innocent. During the investigation, Kapo demanded a person's emails from 2015-2018. The Supreme Court stated that this cannot be done without court permission.
Kristjan Tuul wrote to the Ministry of Interior on June 8, 2026. He seeks oversight of Kapo's activities. He believes Kapo has been doing this for a long time and in multiple cases.
The Ministry of Interior will not initiate oversight. Tarmo Olgo said this is not their job. Overseeing criminal cases is the prosecutor's office's responsibility. The Ministry recommends contacting the prosecutor's office.
Kristjan Tuul disagrees with the Ministry's response. He said the issue was broader, not about one specific case. He will submit a new request and also contact the prosecutor's office.
