Kiisler said that an apolitical mayor can be a political game. Someone may be formally apolitical, but actually doing someone's politics. Or the city is simply politically unmanaged. Both are bad.
The reporter asked if staying in opposition is good for Parempoolsed. Kiisler replied that Parempoolsed will continue their work in any case. In opposition, they are building nationwide. Their messages don't change.
Kiisler said he regrets that Isamaa chose the path of leftism. But this makes it even more necessary to emphasize the role of Parempoolsed in Estonia.
The Center Party and Isamaa said they will start coalition negotiations. For the first two years, the mayor will be Isamaa's candidate. They have no political background. For the next two years, the mayor will be the Center Party's candidate.
