The new chairman is Mihhail Kõlvart.
He received 44 votes.
75 people voted.
4 people were absent.
Kõlvart has been chairman before.
He was also the mayor.
The new coalition consists of the Center Party and Isamaa.
The Center Party has 37 seats.
Isamaa has 11 seats.
The opposition consists of three parties.
The council also elected a deputy chairman.
The deputy chairman is Sven Sester.
The second deputy chairman has not been elected yet.
Sester said that everyone should work together.
The new mayor will be elected on December 8.
Isamaa supports Peeter Raudsepp.
