Urmas Paet's representative Aivar Orukask asked ERR to issue an appeal to Eriali's creditors. This is necessary so that Eriali's bankruptcy proceeding is not halted.
Urmas Paet said that only the bankruptcy proceeding can help save something. The court has determined the necessary amount of money for this. Since there are thousands of creditors, the only way to inform them is through public channels.
The creditors were told that they should contribute 20 euros so that the bankruptcy proceeding can continue. Orukask said that Urmas Paet submitted an application regarding Eriali's bankruptcy to Harju Court on May 8. Harju Court annulled Eriali's restructuring plan on April 1 because Eriali failed to pay its creditors three times.
On May 21, the court appointed Tarmo Peterson as Eriali's interim bankruptcy trustee. On June 20, Peterson submitted a report to the court, which showed that Eriali has no funds for the bankruptcy proceeding.
On July 1, Harju Court decided that 25,000 euros must be paid to continue the bankruptcy proceeding. This money must be transferred to the court's account by August 8 at the latest.
Harju Court convicted Eriali's manager Ilya Dyagelev in June. He was sentenced to five years in prison. Daniela Dalberg-Dyagelev and Daniel Nevsky were also convicted. Tallinn Circuit Court left their sentences unchanged.
Urmas Paet had 100,000 euros deposited with Eriali.
