In Sillamäe, between the bus station and the red monument, there is an apartment building. It is being renovated for six million euros. Locals are very excited about it. People are talking about it on social media and visiting the site. Visitors' interest is very high.
The chairman of the housing association Maria Bolshakova said: "My friends compared it to Bulgakov's work where people wanted to see a talking dog. Now we're being watched in the same way. Many people and journalists visit the site. We should see how to set boundaries because it would be better to come when the construction is finished."
Construction specialist Aarne Orgna said the building will change completely. Everything will change, from the basement to the roof. Residents will also get balconies. Orgna said: "I've worked on such buildings, but I've never seen balconies being added. There were no balconies here before. Now all residents will get a balcony."
The renovation of the 32-apartment building costs nearly 1.3 million euros.
