Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina organized a meeting of Baltic Prime Ministers last weekend. Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas participated in bread baking.
The meeting began in Līgatne, Northern Latvia. The Prime Ministers met with local entrepreneurs and learned about Latvian cultural traditions. They also tried baking. Photos show that each Prime Minister used caraway seeds differently. One loves caraway, another not so much, and the third doesn't eat them at all.
In Cēsis, the Prime Ministers got acquainted with community activities. On the first day of the meeting, there was a concert by Elīna Garanča. On the second day, the space center was visited. The Prime Ministers also discussed regional development.
Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said that such meetings are important. They strengthen the cooperation of Baltic countries. Rail Baltic funding and European defense capabilities were discussed. The Latvian Prime Minister also shared impressions from her visit to Kyiv.
Next summer, the same meeting will take place in Estonia.
