Fewer new cars were sold in July

Juulis müüdi Eestis 1106 uut autot. See on eelmise aastaga võrreldes 40,3% vähem. ja .

More cars were sold in June – 1549. However, this was still 14.5% less than in June of the previous year. So far this year, 7262 new cars have been sold in seven months. This is 39.6% less than during the same period last year.
In July, 100 electric cars were sold. These accounted for 9% of total sales. Hybrid cars made up 59.5%, while petrol cars accounted for 21.2%.
Toyota was the most popular car brand in July, with 163 units sold. Škoda and Renault followed, with 139 and 126 cars respectively. The most popular model was the Toyota Corolla (68 cars). The KIA Sportage (63 cars) and Dacia Duster (52 cars) were also very popular.
The decline in sales of commercial vehicles was less pronounced. In July, 246 new commercial vehicles were sold. This is 9.6% less than in July of the previous year. So far this year, 1917 new commercial vehicles have been sold in seven months. This is 31.7% less than last year.
