From May 1st, wind turbines will be transported to Latvia. This will take four nights.
The turbines will go via two routes. One route goes from Tallinn through Rapla. The other route goes from Tallinn through Viljandi.
The turbines are very large. They will travel at night. There are fewer cars at night.
The transportation of turbines will take two months. The roads will remain open, but traffic may be slower.
Changes will be made along the route. Signs will be replaced. Roads will be widened.
The transportation is handled by Baltic Road & Wind Solutions MB. Traffic management is organized by Ramudden OÜ.
