The Centre Party completed its financial report for 2024. They made a profit of 138,000 euros. However, their liabilities were 800,000 euros higher than their assets.
The Centre Party has a tax debt of 63,172 euros. Of this, 42,430 euros must be paid by May 2026. This debt arose in 2025 and is related to the income tax on special cases.
The income tax on special cases is a special tax. It arises when rules are not followed. For example, in the case of prohibited donations or false documents.
The financial situation of the Centre Party is poor. At the end of 2024, their liabilities were 1.03 million euros. Assets were only 217,000 euros. Liabilities were 814,097 euros higher than assets.
Auditor Liina Tamm said: "This shows that the party may not be able to continue its work."
The party received 883,000 euros in revenue in 2024. Most of the money came from donations. Membership fees fell from 272,000 euros to 66,000 euros.
The Centre Party received a fine of one million euros in the Porto Franco court case. In 2025, the party had to repay 13,225 euros of prohibited donations.
