Setomaal asub Meremäe kool. Eelmisel sajandil oli see keskkool. Nüüd on see põhikool. Praegu on seal ka lasteaed. Üheksa klassis on kokku 26 õpilast. Uuel õppeaastal alustab esimeses klassis kaks õpilast.
