The state to conduct a new emergency alert test

Päästeamet korraldab novembris-detsembris uue ohuteavitustesti. Kevadel tehtud test näitas, mis töötab ja mis vajab parandamist. Suvel tehti palju parandustöid sireenivõrgus.
Kevadel testiti 121 sireeniposti. Neist töötasid õigesti vaid 70. Probleemiks oli elektroonika, mis tuli koroonaaja tõttu. See elektroonika vahetati suvel välja. Augustis tehti uus test, mis oli edukas.
Päästeamet kavatseb nüüd testida kõiki ohuteavituskanaleid sügistalvel. 2027. aastaks plaanitakse käivitada . See on kiirem kui SMS ja äpiteavitused.
Praegu kasutatakse ohuteavituseks äppe, ERR-i kanaleid, sireene ja SMS-e. Ukraina kogemus näitab, et äpid on kriisi ajal väga olulised. Need saavad edastada palju infot.
Valitsus eraldas raha nutitelefoni välkteate arendamiseks. Välkteated saadetakse kõikidesse telefonidesse sekunditega. Arendus algab järgmisel aastal ja lõpeb 2027. aastal.
Välkteate arendamiseks on vaja koostööd telekomiettevõtetega. Samuti peavad Apple ja Google aktiveerima vajalikud funktsioonid.
Valitsus eraldas välkteavituse arendamiseks 3,6 miljonit eurot. See summa sisaldab arendus- ja litsentsitasusid. Välkteated on odavamad kui SMS-teavitused.
Uus ohuteavitustest toimub novembri lõpus või detsembri alguses. Test vajab tugevat ühiskondlikku teadlikkust. Sireenid testitakse maksimaalse helitugevusega.
Kevadel oli sireenide helitugevus 70 protsenti. Nüüd testitakse maksimaalse helitugevusega, et hinnata kuuldavust. See aitab otsustada, kas u on vaja muuta.
14. mail testiti esmakordselt üleriigilist ohuteavitussüsteemi EE-ALARM. Inimesed said testsõnumeid äppides, SMS-ina, ERR-i kanalites ja veebilehel.
The Rescue Board will conduct a new emergency alert test in November-December. A test conducted in the spring showed what works and what needs improvement. Many repair works were carried out on the siren network during the summer.
In the spring, 121 siren posts were tested. Only 70 of them worked correctly. The problem was the electronics, which had failed due to the coronavirus period. This electronics was replaced during the summer. A new test was conducted in August, which was successful.
The Rescue Board now plans to test all emergency alert channels this autumn-winter. By 2027, it is planned to launch a network-based cell broadcast alert. This is faster than SMS and app notifications.
Currently, emergency alerts are issued through apps, ERR channels, sirens, and SMS. The experience in Ukraine shows that apps are crucial during crises. They can convey a lot of information.
The government has allocated funds to develop cell broadcast alerts for smartphones. Cell broadcast alerts will be sent to all phones within seconds. Development will begin next year and be completed by 2027.
Developing cell broadcast alerts requires cooperation with telecommunications companies. Apple and Google must also activate the necessary features.
The government has allocated 3.6 million euros for the development of cell broadcast alerts. This amount includes development and licensing fees. Cell broadcast alerts are cheaper than SMS alerts.
The new emergency alert test will take place in late November or early December. The test requires strong public awareness. The sirens will be tested at maximum volume.
In the spring, the sirens operated at 70% volume. Now they will be tested at maximum volume to assess audibility. This will help decide if the siren network needs to be changed.
On May 14, the nationwide EE-ALARM emergency alert system was tested for the first time. People received test messages through apps, SMS, ERR channels, and the website.
