The Motor Sports Museum MOMU in Turba is closing in August. Few visitors and a difficult situation are the reasons. Many came to the museum on its last day.
MOMU has been operating for 7 years. The museum showcases the history of Estonian motorsports. On Sunday, the museum was open for its last day.
On Saturday, there were many cars in Turba. In the last two weeks, the museum had 500 visitors per day. On weekends, there were 1500 visitors per day.
Many came to the museum even though they hadn't planned to. MOMU founder Arno Sillat said they are grateful to the visitors.
Visitor Roland said that MOMU is a fantastic place. He wants the museum to remain open. Currently, it's unknown what will happen to MOMU.
MOMU is the world's largest motor sports museum. Arno Sillat said they should focus on quality.
MOMU will still be open on September 13th and 14th. Group visits are also possible.
