Ene Andresen has worked in the field of law for a long time. She studied at the University of Tartu and University of Konstanz in Germany. Her specialties are administrative law, state liability, and migration law.
Andresen has been a judge at Tartu Administrative Court since 2023. Previously, she worked at the National Court and the University of Tartu. She has written books and articles. She has helped draft important legal acts.
The current chief judge of Tartu Administrative Court, Sirje Kaljumäe, will conclude her work. The new leader will be appointed by the Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs. Before the decision, the court's general assembly and the Judicial Administration Council will be consulted.
