The Data Tracker shows a person their data.
Currently, it displays data from 16 databases. The government wants all state databases to be connected.
People will be able to see who views their data. This will start in 2026.
All government institutions must display data. Before this, not all data may have been visible.
Some data will remain confidential. For example, data needed for police work.
The government is working on new rules. The new rules will come next year.
The Data Tracker's operation costs money. Approximately 2.5 million euros are needed.
The Data Tracker has existed since 2017. It can be used on the eesti.ee website and app.
