A protest took place in Tartu on Sunday. People were against the Swedish prison agreement.
About 50 people were present. There weren't many police officers. Some politicians were also present.
One politician said: "The Swedes gave us meatballs and Pippi. But let their trash stay with them."
The Riigikogu approved the agreement in June. According to the agreement, Swedish prisoners can be brought to Estonia.
Up to 400 Swedish prisoners may come to Tartu Prison. The agreement lasts for five years. It can be extended by three years.
Sweden will pay Estonia money for each prisoner. The annual sum is large.
The prisoners are men who have committed serious crimes. They must serve their punishment.
Prisoners cannot leave the prison. Only in exceptional cases.
An employee of the Ministry of Justice said that not many people visit the prisoners.
