Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on Monday.
According to the decree, Maksym Kononenko will end his work as Ukraine's ambassador to Estonia.
The new ambassador to Estonia will be Volodymyr Bojechko.
Kononenko wrote on social media that he has represented Ukraine in France, the Netherlands, and Estonia for five years.
He emphasized that during wartime, the importance of diplomatic work is especially significant.
Kononenko thanked his colleagues, friends, and family for their support.
Volodymyr Bojechko has previously worked in Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in international organizations.
The change of ambassador in Estonia is taking place in connection with changes in the Ukrainian government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Kononenko became Ukraine's ambassador to Tallinn in March 2023.
His predecessor in Estonia was Marjana Betsa, who is now Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister.
