The Ministry of Education and Research (HTM) inspected JJ-Street Dance School.
The inspection ended on October 13. HTM said the school is now doing everything correctly.
HTM director Mairi Uusen stated that the school must create a safe environment. Children must feel good, and their interests must be protected.
During the inspection, some errors were found. The school quickly corrected them. Now everything is in order.
Previously, negative stories about the school were written in the media. These stories were old and did not relate to the current situation.
HTM found no evidence of communication problems. The school received useful advice during the inspection.
JJ-Street Dance School is now one of the best dance schools in Estonia. They developed new curricula, including for young children.
The school's director, Peeter Taim, said their work is now more professional. They also share their experiences with other schools.
The school's administrative tasks increased, but now everything is better organized. Taim believes they are setting an example for others.
Some parents were against the school. 221 parents signed a petition to support the school.
The school's founder, Joel Juht, publicly apologized. He said he had hurt some people in the past.
Now the school wants to focus on teaching street dance. They aim to be world-class.
