The candidate for the head of Harju County Court was selected by a competition committee. The committee included representatives from the courts, the prosecutor's office, the Estonian Bar Association, and the Ministry of Justice and Digital Transformation.
The Council for Administration of Courts granted approval for the appointment of Naaber-Kivisoo. She will assume her position on April 17.
Liisa Pakosta said that she chose Naaber-Kivisoo because she has a clear understanding of court management. She has good private sector experience and extensive experience as a judge. She has all the necessary knowledge and skills to manage the court. She is open to cooperation and dares to make difficult decisions. She can clearly articulate the work of the court.
Naaber-Kivisoo said that leading Harju County Court is a great challenge. She has the strength, will, and enthusiasm to contribute to the development of the courts. She now sees the right time to use her experience and skills in the development of Harju County Court.
