She represents the Commission in meetings. She leads talks during Estonia’s EU presidency. Since 2020, she is an economic advisor. Last year, she was also acting head.
She says the EU is important for economy and security. Estonia must be close to the EU. She wants Estonia’s voice to be strong in EU decisions.
The Commission’s office talks with government, groups, and people. It informs media and public about EU policies. The head is chosen by the Commission president. The head represents the president in Estonia.
Ave studied economy in Tartu and Denmark. The previous head, Vivian Loonela, now works in EU foreign policy.
