The right to refund the registration fee arises only if the vehicle has been paid for and the vehicle is deregistered from the traffic register. The vehicle must be in use outside of Estonia.

Praegu on tagastatud üle 1 217 000 euro 1279 sõiduki eest. Umbes 100 000 eurot 101 sõiduki osas ootab inimeste taotlust. Pärast taotluse esitamist tagastatakse tasu.

The application along with bank account details can be submitted within 60 days after the vehicle is deregistered from the traffic register. If the application is not submitted within 60 days, the fee cannot be refunded later.
