Henri Laupmaa and his lawyer submitted a request to the Harju County Court. They wish to resolve the criminal case through an agreement. If the court agrees, Laupmaa must pay a fine of 2,500 euros. He also needs to repay nearly 30,000 euros from donations.

Earlier, ERR wrote that Laupmaa collected donations for Ukrainian aid. He used the web platform toeta.me. The money was intended for two drone aircraft. The drones would have been sent to Ukrainian soldiers.
In total, over 3,700 donations amounting to 213,000 euros were collected. However, according to the charges, Laupmaa used the money for himself and his business. The money was supposed to go to the Estonian company Threod Systems for the purchase of drones. The drones would have helped avoid Russian devices.
Laupmaa promised to repay the donors. However, last year the payments were delayed. The drone campaign also involved musician Roy Strider and members of parliament Eerik-Niiles Kross and Juku-Kalle Raid.
