Norstat conducts a survey every month. The survey shows who people want as prime minister. The latest survey shows: Urmas Reinsalu is the most popular (26%). Mihhail Kõlvart is second (25%). Martin Helme is third (16%).
Other candidates are less popular: Kristen Michal (11%), Lavly Perling (9%), Lauri Läänemets (8%), Kristina Kallas (5%). Martin Helme's support increased. Lavly Perling's support decreased.
Party supporters choose differently. EKRE supporters choose Martin Helme (84%). Center Party supporters choose Mihhail Kõlvart (78%). Right-wing supporters choose Lavly Perling (75%). Isamaa supporters choose Urmas Reinsalu (73%). Reform Party supporters choose Kristen Michal (63%). SDE supporters choose Lauri Läänemets (50%).
People also chose between two candidates. Reinsalu and Kõlvart: 50% chose Reinsalu, 31% chose Kõlvart. Reinsalu and Michal: 52% chose Reinsalu, 21% chose Michal. Kõlvart and Michal: 47% chose Kõlvart, 30% chose Michal.
The survey was conducted from February 16-21. Thousands of people participated.
