Mati Raidma (Reform Party) told ERR that the issue of the national defense court should be in a separate bill. He mentioned that on Monday, various individuals who were working on the civil crisis and national defense bill met.
Raidma said that currently, important issues are being discussed that are fundamental and in conflict with the constitution. He explained that each point is being worked through one by one to reach a clear position.
On Monday, faction members and experts discussed the topic of the national defense court. Raidma said the discussion was thorough and effective, but in his opinion, the current bill is insufficient. He believes that the national defense court should be in a separate bill.
Currently, the crisis tasks of county governors and state institutions have already been discussed. Raidma mentioned that they hope to move forward and align positions during March. He believes this is a very important bill that will help organize national defense.
Raidma also said that the faction has a common position: the bill should move forward and be processed quickly in the parliament. He emphasized that all changes have been made professionally and with good intent.
