Tallinn is starting a new project. The project will renovate the old houses in Mustamäe. The houses will get a new look.
The project is called SOFTacademy. The project is being carried out by Everster OÜ. Modular elements will be used. Elevators will be added.
The houses are the oldest in Mustamäe. Work will begin in 2023. Work will be completed in 2027.
The residents supported the project. The house residents will pay a large part of the project costs. European and Estonian organizations will also help.
Mustamäe has a parking problem. As a result of the project, parking spaces will be reduced. The city wants to build parking houses.
The aim of the project is to renovate the houses and to learn. The city wants the project to be a role model.
