The Estonian state wanted to purchase shells from the Indian company Datasel. The purpose of the shells was to aid Ukraine. However, a year ago Estonia terminated this contract.
Datasel did not agree with this. Therefore, the company turned to the Estonian court. The company claims to have suffered losses.
The company received an advance payment of 59 million euros from Estonia. Estonia states that there was more money allocated for the shells - 70 million. Where the remaining money went is still unknown.
Datasel claims to have delivered goods worth 58 million to Estonia. The company does not agree that the goods were bad. However, the company admitted that the delivery was delayed.
Estonia ultimately said it would no longer accept the goods. Datasel wants to fulfill the contract and deliver the goods if Estonia does its part.
