Postimees wrote in its editorial that the coalition agreement lacks vision. The newspaper states that the agreement contains many expensive promises but does not say where the money will come from. Most of the promises apply this year and next, with the furthest reaching the beginning of 2027.
Postimees believes that Estonia needs a government that creates a positive future. Simply distributing money is not enough. Eesti Päevaleht/Delfi was also critical. They wrote that the coalition agreement is a vague document. It is easy to use during elections to talk about their achievements.
Delfi believes that there was no need to wait two months to write 49 pages of text. Each party has been able to include its important points. Now it is easy to say that they wanted to do something, but the money ran out first. Õhtuleht and Äripäev did not publish an editorial on Monday.
