Kohtla-Järve Gymnasium will get a new director. The new director will be Aet Kruusimägi. She will start her work on January 5, 2026. The ministry organized a competition to find a new leader.
The previous director, Hendrik Agur, moved to another school. Temporarily, the gymnasium was led by Tatjana Ait.
No director was found in the first competition. Aet Kruusimägi was found in the second round. The commission chose her. There were many people in the commission.
Aet Kruusimägi has been working at Võsu School since 2017. She graduated from the University of Tartu. She has been a school leader for five years.
The head of the ministry says that Kruusimägi has a good vision. She wants to help Kohtla-Järve school life. She has a lot of experience.
Kruusimägi says that she wants to create a good school. She wants to support teachers and students.
