Maris Lauri said that Peeter Raudsepp becoming mayor is not good. She stated that Raudsepp does not have the trust of the voters.
Lauri added that Raudsepp's position is weak. He has no votes or mandate. Lauri said that Raudsepp's initiatives are not feasible.
Lauri stated that bringing Raudsepp into office is a scam. She believes Tallinn needs a better mayor.
Raimond Kaljulaid thinks differently. He said that Raudsepp has leadership experience. Kaljulaid stated that calling Raudsepp a puppet is wrong.
Kaljulaid said that the mayor's position could help Isamaa in the parliamentary elections. He mentioned that a third of parliament seats are elected from Tallinn.
Jürgen Ligi said that EKI, led by Raudsepp, would soon be without orders. He stated that EKI's work will no longer be purchased next year.
Raudsepp and EKI have faced criticism from the government. The Ministry of Economic Affairs is EKI's biggest client.
