The chairman of EKRE said that with the right choices, we can make Estonia better. He stated that the state budget needs to be cut by over one billion euros. This will help raise pensions and salaries.
What are these right choices? EKRE's program emphasizes proper tax, energy, and family policy choices. Family policy is very important because without children and young families, there is no hope for the future. We also need to fight corruption, which is one of the causes of poverty.
Can EKRE do this? We say clearly: if we promise something, we will definitely do it. For example, we will abolish the car tax and registration fee. We will reduce VAT and excise duties. We will reverse the tax increases by the Reform Party, Social Democrats, and Estonia 200.
We have proposed cutting the state budget by 1.1 billion euros. This can be done without reducing pensions or teachers' salaries. We will reduce unnecessary expenses and implement tax cuts.
What is EKRE's goal in the elections? We want to achieve a similar or better result than in 2019, when we won 19 seats. We are not aiming for first place if we are not in top form, but we want to achieve the best possible result.
The economy is one of the main themes of the elections. We need to find solutions to poverty and the growth of Estonia's economy. With the right choices, we can raise salaries, pensions, and birth rates.
EKRE promises to bring cheap energy. We will use oil shale electricity and develop a nuclear power plant. Nuclear power plant electricity is cheap and does not require additional costs. We will restore affordable prices.
We will also make EKRE's food baskets cheaper. We will reduce the VAT on food products and ensure fair competition in the market. This will keep prices low.
Will EKRE introduce new names? Yes, we have some very good names coming. The lists will be ready by early December, and the new names will be announced.
