On September 16th, election broadcasts begin on Estonian Public Broadcasting. ETV, Vikerraadio, ETV+, and Raadio 4 offer over 20 debates on local topics.
ETV is the first to start with election broadcasts. Over five Tuesdays, politicians will be interviewed by Andres Kuusk, Mirko Ojakivi, and Liisu Lass.
The first episode of „Election Studio“ will introduce the discussions. Representatives of political parties will debate key election questions. They will inquire whether political parties see the upcoming elections as the foundation of local governance or as a reflection of broader politics.
Debates on Narva and Pärnu topics are coming. The mayoral candidates of Tartu and Tallinn will also debate.
„Election Studio“ live broadcasts are on ETV every Tuesday at 20:00 and continuing at 21:40. ETV election debates will also have sign language interpretation – live on Jupiter and as a repeat on ETV2 every Thursday.
Vikerraadio begins „Election Studios“ on September 30th. Leaders of parties represented in the parliament will debate the role of local governments.
In October, debates focused on Narva, Pärnu, Tartu, and Tallinn will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On October 2nd, a broadcast about a randomly selected local government will reach listeners.
Arp Müller, Mirko Ojakivi, Lauri Varik, Jüri Nikolajev, and Kristi Raidla will host „Election Studios“ on Vikerraadio, according to the regions.
Russian-language TV debates begin on September 24th on the ETV+ channel. The opening broadcast will focus broadly on topics concerning the Russian-speaking population. Following this, the debates will center around Lasnamäe, Narva, and all of Tallinn.
Andrei Titov, Tatjana Gassova, and Jüri Nikolajev will host the broadcasts. In October, „Narva Studio“ will also focus on election-related topics.
Raadio 4 will host nine radio debates before the elections – five from the Tallinn studio and four from the Narva studio. In addition to debates on Tallinn topics, Raadio 4 will focus on issues concerning Kohtla-Järve, Narva, and Jõhvi.
Andrei Titov in Tallinn and Mihhail Komaško in Narva will host the election debates starting on October 6th.
The news portal of Estonian Public Broadcasting will carry election broadcasts from television and radio programs online. Election-related news, practical information, and reflections of ERR's election broadcasts will be compiled on the special page valimised.err.ee.
On October 19th, ERR's television, radio, and web channels will cover the election results.
