The old meeting house at Liivalaia 24 has been empty for years. A new commercial and residential building will be constructed there. The building will be up to 12 stories high. The height of the building will gradually change, with lower floors towards the city center.
The 12-story part of the building is located along Liivalaia Street. This will also help reduce noise. Previously, there were plans to build a 14-story building there.
The second approved plan is for Pirita tee 26E. It is located next to the Tuljak restaurant. Over the last 10-12 years, the area has changed significantly. Several new high-rise buildings have been constructed there.
A hotel-business building will be constructed next to the Tuljak restaurant. It will support the restaurant's operations. The building will be up to 6 stories high. It will be smaller than the neighboring buildings.
The third plan is for Lasnamäe. A large new residential quarter will be built there. The plan includes up to 16 buildings. Primarily, there will be residential buildings. One building from the old airport will be preserved.
After the approval of the plans, a public exhibition will be organized. This will be done by the Tallinn City Planning Department and the City Center Government.
