On Thursday, a police exercise will take place at the ERR news building. The exercise is called "Ilves 2026". The police are practicing what to do if someone attacks ERR.
The exercise will take place on Thursday between 9 and 14 o'clock. The police will use smoke and bangs during the exercise to make the situation realistic. Ordinary people don't need to worry, as the exercise won't disrupt movement.
Police chief Virko Luide says the exercise is important. The police can practice how to work together with ERR. Police officers will also teach ERR employees how to behave in case of an attack.
This exercise is part of the larger "Ilves 2026" exercise. Over 130 organizations are participating in this exercise. The main exercise will take place from June 8 to 12, 2026.
