Tallinn limits land tax increase to 10% next year. Home land gets up to 1000 euros discount.

Tallinn city government makes a new rule. From 2026, land tax can increase up to 10% per year. Home land gets a tax discount of up to 1000 euros.
If the land tax is less than 1000 euros, people get a full discount. People with home land do not pay up to 1000 euros.
Next year, the city can decide the land tax rate. By law, the tax can increase by 10-100% per year. Tallinn uses the smallest increase allowed by law.
Land tax will be over 1000 euros for 451 people in 2026. The home land discount helps keep taxes lower. Land tax money goes to the local government.
