The Isamaa congress elected Urmas Reinsalu as the party chairman. He was the only candidate. Reinsalu received 931 votes. He continues as chairman. Two years ago, he was also elected chairman. Then, he received 1046 votes.
There were changes in the party board. Several old members did not run. For example, Riho Terras, Mihhail Lotman, and Üllar Saaremäe. Also, Tõnis Palts, Sven Sester, Harri Juhani Aaltonen, and Ründo Mülts did not run.
20 people were elected to the new board. Among them are Aivar Kokk (247 votes), Riina Solman (240), and Helir-Valdor Seeder (230). Also, Andres Luus (207), Jüri Ratas (205), and Tarmo Kruusimäe (202) were elected. Kaspar Kokk (200), Jaanus Karilaid (175), and Priit Sibul (175) are also new members. Triin Varek (170), Karl Sander Kase (169), and Mart Maastik (163) were elected. Marja-Liisa Veiser (162), Priit Humal (160), and Heiki Hepner (151) are also on the board. Andres Metsoja (151), Lea Danilson-Järg (144), Gert Konnov (143), Kristjan Järvan (140), and Tõnis Lukas (138) were elected.
Some did not make it to the board. For example, Olle Koop (137), Ahti Kallikorm (131), and Raimond Pihlap (104). Also, Gerli Lehe (80), Juhani Jaeger (31), and Henn Põlluaas (19) did not get a seat.
Lagle Parek was elected as the honorary chairman of Isamaa.
