Leading analyst Ülo Paulus from Statistics Estonia said that the construction price index was primarily influenced by wage increases. Employee wages rose by 2.9 percent. This affected the change in the index by 54 percent. Paulus specified that compared to the fourth quarter of last year, labor costs rose by 0.6 percent. Machinery costs rose by 0.3 percent. Material costs, however, fell by 0.2 percent.
Remondi- ja rekonstrueerimistööde hinnaindeks langes esimeses kvartalis. Võrreldes 2024. aasta neljanda kvartaliga oli langus 0,5 protsenti. Võrreldes eelmise aasta esimese kvartaliga tõusis indeks 0,5 protsenti.
