The Ministry of Defense is seeking a new Deputy Chancellor for Defense Policy. The current Deputy Chancellor, Tuuli Duneton, is moving to work in Paris.
The new Deputy Chancellor will lead the planning of Estonia's security and defense policy. They will also coordinate Estonia's security analysis and cooperation with NATO, the European Union, and other organizations.
The Deputy Chancellor's task is to draft international agreements and conclude cooperation agreements. They must ensure that international obligations are fulfilled.
The new Deputy Chancellor will need a state secret clearance. They must hold a master's degree and have at least 5 years of management experience.
The candidate must be proficient in English at the C1 level. They must write an essay on the topic "How to ensure European security in the next five years?".
The deadline for submitting documents is May 20. The term of office for the new Deputy Chancellor is five years.
