Estonia installed the first anti-drone devices on the eastern border

Siseministeeriumi pressiteate järgi paigaldati esimesed Kagu-Eesti maismaapiiri kolmele lõigule. Need asuvad i ja Luhamaa vahel.
Esimesed seadmed on paigas ja töötavad. See on algus. Plaan on teha terve Eesti . Hiljutised näitavad, et ohte on hinnatud õigesti. Idapiir on hästi valvatud. Droonivõimekus paraneb ja annab turvatunde kogu Euroopale.
PPA andis siseministrile ülevaate i ehitustöödest Saatse saapa lähedal. Samuti räägiti seiresüsteemide paigaldamisest Piusa jõe ääres. Kohtades, kus hetkel pole statsionaarset seiretehnikat, demonstreeriti uusi mobiilseid seiresüsteeme.
Siseminister Igor Taro ütles, et paraneb iga päevaga. Tööd käivad ja Eesti muutub paremaks. PPA ostab järgmiste ude seireseadmeid. Ehitus- ja ettevalmistustööd tehakse plaanipäraselt.
Koidula ja Saatse vahelisel alal lõpetatakse tööd selle aasta lõpuks. Lepingu järgi on veel mitu kuud aega. Idapiiri ehitustööd saavad valmis tänu ele.
According to the press release from the Ministry of the Interior, the first anti-drone devices were installed on three sections of the southeastern land border. They are located between the Estonia-Latvia-Russia tri-border point and Luhamaa.
The first devices are in place and operational. This is the beginning. The plan is to create an Estonia-wide drone network. Recent drone incidents show that the threats have been correctly assessed. The eastern border is well guarded. Drone capabilities are improving and provide a sense of security for all of Europe.
The PPA briefed the Minister of the Interior on the border construction works near Saatse's Boot. The installation of surveillance systems along the Piusa River was also discussed. In places where there is currently no stationary surveillance technology, new mobile surveillance systems were demonstrated.
Minister of the Interior Igor Taro said that border surveillance capabilities are improving every day. Work is progressing, and Estonia's border defense is becoming better. The PPA is purchasing surveillance equipment for the next border sections. Construction and preparatory work are proceeding as planned.
Work between Koidula and Saatse will be completed by the end of this year. According to the contract, there are still several months left. The construction works on the eastern border will be completed thanks to European Union funding.
