The Ministry of Foreign Affairs requests all Estonian citizens in the Middle East to register. This can be done on the ministry's website or via email (konsul@mfa.ee).
Please follow the instructions of local authorities. Those staying in Israel are advised to download the Tzofar – Red Alert app. This app provides alerts about missile attacks. More information can be found on the Israeli Home Front Command website.
In case of a missile threat, sirens will sound in Israel. Upon hearing the siren, you must go to a shelter or safe room. Stay in the shelter for at least 10 minutes.
If you do not know where the shelter is, go inside a building. Look for a windowless staircase or basement. If there are no buildings in the area, lie down and cover your head with your hands. If you are driving a car, stop the car and go to the nearest building. If you cannot, lie on the ground and wait for 10 minutes.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, fewer than ten Estonian citizens are currently in Israel.
