Omniva no longer allows ordering custom-designed stamps

Filateelia koguja Indrek Ilomets kritiseeris Omnivat. Ta ütles, et . Ilomets kasutas ise Minu Margi teenust palju kordi, näiteks sõpradele juubelimargi tellimiseks.

Omniva has completely discontinued the My Stamp service. This service allowed people to order postage stamps with their own design.
Businessman Tiit Pruuli said on social media that the stamps he ordered are the last ones printed. Pruuli stated that Omniva is gradually ending philately in Estonia. He added that Omniva has also discontinued ordering all philatelic supplies.
In Pruuli's opinion, Omniva does not care about culture and postal services. He said that a stamp is not just a payment instrument or a collectible object, but also a national symbol.
Philately collector Indrek Ilomets criticized Omniva. He said Omniva focuses on costs, not culture. Ilomets himself used the My Stamp service many times, for example to order anniversary stamps for friends.
Omniva says the My Stamp service was too expensive. During the last year, stamps were ordered for only 2700 euros. Omniva is now focusing more on services needed by customers.
However, Omniva is still involved in issuing stamps. This year, 46 different stamps on various topics will be released. For example, a stamp featuring red berries and Paralympic stamps were recently issued.
Omniva is planning many more new stamps, for example to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Georg Lurich and the anniversary of the Estonian Academic Women's Society.
Omniva launched the My Stamp service in 2007. People could order stamps online by sending their photo to Omniva. Omniva mailed the stamps to the customers.
The Estonian government is starting the privatization of Omniva.
