2+2 lane highway
2026. aastal hakatakse ehitama Kurena-Nurme lõiku. See lõik on 4,5 kilomeetrit pikk. Tööd kestavad 30 kuud ja maksavad 31 miljonit eurot. Enamik raha tuleb Euroopa Liidust.
2026. aastal algavad ka tööd Are möödasõidu lõigul. See lõik on 7 kilomeetrit pikk. Tööd teeb Tref Nord ja need kestavad 30 kuud. Maksumus on 36,5 miljonit eurot. Enamik raha tuleb Euroopa Liidust.
2026. aastal hakatakse ehitama ka Halinga-Kangru lõiku. See lõik on 5 kilomeetrit pikk. Tööd kestavad 30 kuud ja maksavad 25,5 miljonit eurot. Enamik raha tuleb Euroopa Liidust.
2026. aastal algavad tööd Haimre-Konuvere lõigul. See lõik on 8,6 kilomeetrit pikk. Tööd lõppevad 2027. aasta sügisel. Maksumus on 37 miljonit eurot.
2027. aastal algavad tööd Päädeva-Orgita ja Haimre liiklussõlmel. Tööd lõppevad 2027. aasta sügisel. Maksumus on peaaegu 28 miljonit eurot.
Hankes on veel kaks lõiku
: Konuvere-Päärdu ja Libatse-Halinga. Pakkumusi võetakse vastu järgmise aasta jaanuaris.

Major construction works will begin next year on the Tallinn-Pärnu-Ikla highway. Several sections will be widened into a 2+2 road. Some of the works will be completed in 2027, and others by the end of 2028.
In 2026, construction will begin on the Kurena-Nurme section. This section is 4.5 kilometers long. The works will last 30 months and cost 31 million euros. Most of the funding comes from the European Union.
In 2026, work will also begin on the Are bypass section. This section is 7 kilometers long. The works will be carried out by Tref Nord and will last 30 months. The cost is 36.5 million euros. Most of the funding comes from the European Union.
In 2026, construction will also begin on the Halinga-Kangru section. This section is 5 kilometers long. The works will last 30 months and cost 25.5 million euros. Most of the funding comes from the European Union.

There are two more sections in the project: Konuvere-Päärdu and Libatse-Halinga. Bids will be accepted in January of next year.
Some sections are still unfunded. The Transport Administration aims to bring the Tallinn-Pärnu-Ikla road in line with European Union requirements.
